Game Of Thrones star Kit Harington’s reaction to learning of Jon Snow’s murder of Emilia Clarke’s Daenerys Targaryen for the first time is absolutely priceless.

Two-hour documentary The Last Watch showed all the behind-the-scenes action of the finale season eight, including the very moment Kit realised he’d be slaying his love interest.

The bombshell was dropped during a table read with the cast, with the last scene being dictated to the room.

‘For a moment neither moves as if moving would make this real. We see Jon with his hands still on the with the hilt of the dagger he’s just lodged in Dany’s heart,’ a narrator announced.

‘Her strength leaves her and she collapses to the marble,’ they continued.

‘He keeps her in his arms and she falls, kneeling down to the floor beside her. He looks down at what he’s done, terrible and necessary. End of Game Of Thrones.’

Kit held his head in his hands as he listened to how the HBO series ending would play while Emilia tried her hardest to make her co-star laugh by pulling faces.

However Kit was visibly shocked by what he’d heard and covered his mouth with his hand.

Fans were living for the actor’s reaction and joked on Twitter that his reaction was to the writing rather than to Dany’s fate.

‘Kit Harington reading the script and realising how sh**** the writing has been this season and crying,’ laughed one.

Game Of Thrones fans launched an online campaign to get the entire eighth season remade ahead of the tragic finale scenes airing.

The petition has so far racked up a staggering 1.5million signatures, with the likes of Sophie Turner slamming fans over the ‘disrespectful’ move.

Game Of Thrones is available to stream on NOW TV.
