Kit Harington, Rose Leslie add Game of Thrones flavor to their wedding invites

Game of Thrones has had a lot of great characters and actors, but there’s something unique about a pair of them. Kit Harington plays the central character, Jon Snow, and while Jon might be getting it on with Daenerys Targaryen nowadays, we all remember his first on-screen love interest, Ygritte. Ygritte was played by Rose Leslie, and her and Kit ended up dating in real life, and are currently engaged and preparing for their wedding. In a recent bit, we got to hear about the couple’s wedding invites, and apparently the invited had a bit of Game of Thrones flavor. Read on!

Now, as we know, Game of Thrones is currently filming Season 8, but Kit has revealed previously that him and Rose will be getting married in the middle of the production, rather than waiting for it to get over. Apparently the couple are already sending out invites, so it is set to happen very soon. A new report by The Daily Mail revealed a bit of information about the invites, and apparently Kit stuck the Game of Thrones stamp with his face on it onto the invite envelopes! The wedding is expected to happen soon, and it seems about 200 guests have been invited. The details have been kept under the wraps, and the invitees told to keep mum, as the couple are expecting fans to turn up unannounced otherwise. A friend of the couple said:

“They organised the wedding quickly because they didn’t want information to leak, but putting Kit’s face on the envelope might be a bit of a giveaway, at least for postmen across the country.”
