this is going to a fantastic show…if it becomes big are you going to do shows for it?
This good be a good show, too bad it's only listed as 10 episodes, ending in February. It could be too much to ask that they have some major shake down and air it on Friday the the 13, which won't happen this season. I really wan to see what direction they will are it and who any of the contributors could be, including Tim Wallace-Murphy.
Definitely do breakdowns, especially since you have an interest in the Templars.
I have been watching Frontier and watched the first couple of seasons of Vikings. I am going to try this one hoping it fills in the time while we wait for more GoT.
I loved it however it's no GOT. It's more like Vikings. Love that show as well.
I had some pretty high expectations for this show being that the same author/historian to GRRM (who is also one of my favorite historical writers/Dan Jones) is also helping with the history for this show, and because History Channel has done great on The Vikings. It didn't knock my socks off yet, but I am hoping it gets good. We need more shows to bridge the gap, and I am a big history/medieval buff. There is so much interesting history behind the Knights Templar, the Crusades and such that it should be good.
Game of Thrones is my Favorite show by far, Vikings is a close second, the Last Kingdom is third, and Frontier is fourth. Smokescreen if you have not seen Vikings, Frontier, or the Last Kingdom, I envy you because you'r in for a bad ass Binge watch my friend ha!! Nothing against this new show, I haven't gave it a chance yet, but you should deff check those out. Hell the Author of a Song of Ice and Fire (George RR Martin) has stated how much he loves the Last Kingdom on social media ha. To be honest The last kingdom is like Game of Thrones in that will kill every character you get attached to lol. As always man love you'r channel, keep up the good work..
Nope. Sadly it is nowhere near Thrones level of realism, intriguing storyline and stunning visual effects. The story apparently revolves around a much smaller group central characters, none of which I found very compelling. Just being honest here. Maybe I'm just spoiled by Thrones awesomeness.

Thanks for the review, Chris. I was thinking about checking this out myself. My favorite line from this video: "Is it comparable to Game of Thrones? No, nothing is comparable to Game of Thrones." haha… as much as I love GoT, it was pretty much ruined television for me. I used to be able to sit in front of the tv and binge watch shows for hours and hours on end, but ever since I started watching GoT, nothing else is nearly as interesting. Even shows that I was ALREADY into at that point in time… nope, can't watch 'em anymore cuz nothing holds my interest besides Thrones. haha have a good day everyone!
I did put on the first episode. I so disappointed. After all this hype, the acting is awful and the CGI does not make it pleasant to watch at all.
The story might be very good, but I turned it off half way in, and I don't think I'm going to watch more.
Yeah, but I don't hear much about family intrigue, family loyalty. I love GOT largely because of family dynamics and drama… I will give it a shot, nevertheless.
