Adidas UltraBoost ‘White Walkers’ are yet to be officially announced
Adidas are rumoured to be working on special Game Of Thrones–themed trainers to coincide with the much-loved show’s final season next year.
Images shared on social media seem to show the UltraBoost shoes, which are named after the show’s villainous White Walkers.
According to HotNewHipHop, the shoes feature “a white primeknit upper and a matching white Boost midsole, accompanied by translucent, icy blue overlays on the toe, heel and lace cage,” as well as “a black inner lining, three stripes branding and a ‘Winter Is Here’ tab on the heel.”
The eighth and final season of Game Of Thrones is due to start in April 2019.
Recently, fans were “appalled” at a series of posters promoting the show that appeared in New York City and appeared to spoil the show’s first seven seasons.
One fan wrote: “I kind of can’t believe they’re spoiling some of the main events from each season with these posters…I get that they’re mainly for show watchers that have seen it all already, but don’t you think they’d take into account the hundreds of thousands of people who will see these that haven’t seen the show yet?”
Meanwhile, the writer of Game of Thrones, George R. R. Martin, has recently revealed that he is working on several new projects for HBO including a prequel to Game of Thrones as well as “a couple of other projects for HBO.”
