The 45-year-old actress, who has starred in Game of Thrones since it first aired in 2011, uploaded a fun shot of herself enjoying a sauna with a male pal in view of her 1.7 million Instagram followers earlier today. Lena Headey could be seen beaming for the camera as she enjoyed the relaxing spa session. She wore a black halterneck swimsuit and clutched a white towel to her chest, flashing a glimpse of the tattoos on shoulder. Her damp brunette locks were swept back from her face and she appeared to go make-up-free.

The English actress, who is best known for playing Cersei Lannister in the hit HBO fantasy drama, quipped in the caption: “Before I puked. Get your glow on?”

Fans took to the comments section to praise Lena’s candid revelation, with one saying: “I so love and respect your honesty.”

“You are not alone. I literally did the exact same thing yesterday, spa then vomit,” another chipped in. “Stars, they’re just like us lol!”(sic)

“Did you really spew? Wow!” a third exclaimed, while a fourth wrote: “You always look like you’re having the most fun! Stay awesome, lady!”

“Cersei always has her glow on,” another Instagram user complimented.

As well as her role as the Queen in Game of Thrones, she has also appeared in the likes of 300: Rise of an Empire, Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles and The Remains of the Day.

Last year, she wrapped filming on Game of Thrones season eight.

The final season is set to air on April 14 as fans tune in to the six-episode series to find out who will take the Iron Throne.

Lena previously opened up about the show coming to an end, describing her “huge sense of loss”.

“There was a great sense of grief,” she told Entertainment Weekly. “It’s a huge sense of loss, like we’ll never have anything like this again.”

Her co-star Emilia Clarke, 32, who plays Daenerys Targaryen, added: “Every choice, every conversation, every attitude has the air of, ‘This is it.’

“Everything feels more intense. I had a scene with someone and I turned to him and said, ‘Oh my god, I’m not going to do this ever again,’ and that brings tears to my eyes.”

Lena’s character could be set to meet her end in the final season, with BetVictor implying the probability of Cersei dying is 98 per cent.

The bookmakers have Cersei down as the second most likely character to be killed off after Euron Greyjoy (played by Pilou Asbaek), who is her current partner in crime.

BetVictor also said there was a 92 per cent chance Cersei’s brother and lover Jaime Lannister (Nikolaj Coster Waldau) will die in Game of Thrones season eight.

Game of Thrones season 8 will return to HBO and Sky Atlantic on April 14. Seasons 1-7 are currently streaming on NOW TV.
