The final episode of Game of Thrones aired approximately 4 years ago. The last season left some fans wanting more, while others thought it was ideal. The contentious eighth season split the cast in two, with one side supporting it and the other seeking more. However, most do agree that the early seasons of Game of Thrones were the best TV anyone had ever seen. Liam Cunningham (Davos) hopes future generations would get to relive that experience.

Liam Cunningham on Game of Thrones’ legacy
Cunningham recently sat down to chat with Den of Geek and reminisced about Game of Thrones, “I think Game of Thrones is one of those things that after each decade, people are going to discover as if the previous decade had forgotten it. I think it’s going to be rediscovered. I think it’s a bit like Dracula. Dracula gets rediscovered and reinterpreted every few years.”
“The original Game of Thrones was a phenomenon. Nobody could have predicted that it would turn into some kind of cultural phenomenon, and they’re very, very difficult to design. You build it, and they come or they don’t come. In that case, they came in droves.”
Liam Cunnigham compares Game of Thrones to Star Wars
Cunningham went on to compare the various seasons of Game of Thrones to the various Star Wars films and TV shows, “Star Wars has been going on forever, and some of them have been great quality, and some of them not so great. It’s a world that people are fascinated with, and long may it continue.”
