The Central Coast’s landmark Game of Thrones castle is back up for rent this year with a $20 discount.
The unusual rental property at 58 Donnison St, West Gosford made headlines last year when Raine and Horne Gosford posted an unconventionally playful listing that called for “the next Jon Snow and Daenerys” to apply for the multi-share property.

Now the castle is back up for rent and the agency is once again embracing the GOT theme, announcing in a press release that they expect the property to “attract a throng of king slayers, wildings, and Targaryens.”
“Apart from historical and GoT enthusiasts, we expect local families with growing broods to inspect this iconic property, which offers four bedrooms and ample living space for sumptuous feasts and Shakespearean banquets,” agent Katie Tilden said.
Having built the property 20 years ago with the intention of renting out the downstairs, the owners live on the upper level of the castle in a completely separate living area.
Ms Tilden said the owner was a surgeon who had a fascination with older-style medieval buildings, and he loved the GOT-themed advertising.

The real-life castle with turrets was rented out to some tradies last year for $520 per week, but with the tenants moving out, Ms Tilden said that the property will be discounted to $500 per week in line with the rental market.
“There is a 2-2.5 per cent rental difference to last year, so this property is actually holding strong compared to other older properties in the area,” Ms Tilden said.
The castle is only a short 8-minute march to Gosford Station and Central Coast Stadium and comes with Brisbane Water views.
