Actress Maisie Williams has become something of a household name thanks to Game Of Thrones – with her character Arya Stark surviving all eight seasons of the show.
And she left fans shocked as the second episode of the final series aired over the weekend – as Arya, who has grown up across the seasons, had her first sex scene on the show, with Gendry (Joe Dempsie).
Even she admitted shock at the development, saying: ‘At first I thought it was a prank. I was like “Yo, good one”,’ – after revealing she learned the news from co-star Sophie Turner, who had read the script before her.

How old is Maisie Williams and when did she join Game Of Thrones?
Maisie – whose full name is Margaret Constance Williams – celebrated her 22nd birthday on 15th April.
She joined Game Of Thrones in 2011, when she was 14 – winning the role of Arya Stark from 300 actresses.
As well as appearing on all eight seasons of the show, Maisie has won a boatload of acclaim for her role, winning a Portal Award for best supporting actress for her work in the second season – becoming the youngest actress ever to win in that category.
Maisie also nabbed herself the Radio 1 Teen Award for best British actor in 2013.
However she recently revealed she almost didn’t audition in the first place, because it would have meant missing a school trip.
Speaking to Christine Lampard on Lorraine, Maisie revealed: ‘I desperately wanted to go on a school trip instead – good job I didn’t! I wouldn’t be here now.’
What else has Maisie Williams been in?
The actress hasn’t just contented herself with Game Of Thrones, also appearing in Channel 4 drama Cyberbully, BBC One chiller The Secret Of Crickley Hall and four episodes of Doctor Who as Ashildr.
She’s also due to appear alongside Asa Butterfield in teen drama Then Came You, due for cinema released in 2019, as well as X-Men spin-off The New Mutants, playing Wolfsbane.
Does Maisie Williams have a boyfriend?
Maisie was previously linked to a former classmate Ollie Jackson, saying of him: ‘Everyone just wants to have someone they can hang out with who is a friend and a boyfriend, and Ollie is that.’
More recently though, she’s been linked toRuben Selby who is the communications director for Daisie, an app the actress co-founded to help emerging creatives find work.
