Game of Thrones’ Maisie Williams has split from boyfriend Reuben Selby after five years.
The former couple met when the actress was co-founding her talent discovery start-up Daisie.
But, they’ve now gone their separate ways, with 25-year-old Maisie confirming the news.
Their separation seems to have been very amicable though, with the star admitting they will continue to share a ‘connection’.
‘The end of an era,’ she captioned an Instagram post, alongside a pic of the two.
‘Reuben and I have decided to end our relationship.’
‘Since we met 5 years ago, our connection always extended deeply into our shared, and separate, creative careers… and it will continue to do so,’ she said, adding the decision to part was something they agreed together so that they can remain in each others’ lives.
‘This decision is something we are so grateful for as we can protect the magic, that we can’t help but emit, whenever we put our brains together.’
For now, The Pistols star said the focus will be on looking after their dog.
‘P.s no further questions, please, we must protect our children (my dog).’
Reuben, 24, previously served as communications director for Daisie for over a year, and has also founded his own modelling agency and a creative agency.
He also shared the split news with his social media followers, reposting the message to his Instagram Story and adding a heart emoji.
The two were quite a fashionista couple, with Reuben, also a fashion designer, having launched his own label in 2021.
They were frequently snapped at numerous events, including at the wedding of her Game of Thrones co-star Sophie Turner when she tied the knot with Joe Jonas.
In a joint interview with Tatler back in 2021, the couple discussed rejecting gender ‘norms’ and labels in fashion.
‘Reuben doesn’t really see clothing as having any specific gender,’ Maisie said at the time. ‘It’s just an image.’
‘I’ve always felt fluid, but I don’t think it would be right for me to label it as that because it’s a difficult conversation. I don’t really have any boundaries,’ he added.
