Game of Thrones cast members have achieved quite a high level of popularity over the years, and it’s no surprise given the popularity of the show. We have seen quite a few of them take up social causes and such, like Maisie Williams, who plays Arya Stark, with her dolphin cause. Now, she has come up with a unique new initiative, aimed at creators: a social app called Daisie. Read on!

She took to Twitter to announce the initiative, which is an app named Daisie, which will help young talent and cr eators to get exposure, and connect with other professionals. Maisie took to Twitter to announce the app. Check out her tweet, below:

She spoke to TechCrunch about Daisie, and what kind of change she is trying to facilitate:

“I couldn’t be happier about the change we are currently seeing in creative industries and the movement towards women becoming truly valued.

I want Daisie to give other creatives the opportunities that I was lucky enough to receive at the beginning of my career. Daisie will break down the archaic gap between youth and creative jobs; offering new opportunities for individuals to collaborate, learn and create – establishing a new way for talented individuals to be discovered and employed.”

Maisie seems to have quite a vision behind Daisie, and we certainly expect this initiative to be a successful one. It certainly comes to her from a personal place, which means that we’ll be seeing the best of her in it, so let’s keep our eyes peeled. Go check out the website for Daisie, here. The app is expected to arrive in the summer.
