Maisie Williams reveals she’ll be Sophie’s Bridesmaid, teases “divisive” Game of Thrones Season 8

Game of Thrones Season 8 is currently filming, and the stars we have seen grow up on the show, and they have grown up quite a lot. While Kit Harington (Jon Snow) and Rose Leslie (Ygritte) are scheduled to get married this year, Sophie Turner (Sansa Stark) will wait till the next year to wed her fiancé Joe Jonas. In a new interview, her on-screen sister and real life best friend, Maisie Williams (Arya Stark) revealed that she will be the bridesmaid for Sophie’s wedding, and teased Game of Thrones Season 8. Maisie has been giving a lot of interviews these days as a part of her promotional round for her new animated movie, Early Man. She recently spoke to RadioTimes about the same, and of course Mophie, and Game of Thrones Season 8 came up. Watch the video, below :

Maisie was asked about Sophie’s wedding, and whether she would be a bridesmaid, to which she said :

“I’ve already got it”.

She then talked about how Sophie will be waiting till Season 8 was done filming :

“We’re waiting until this season’s done until we get into any of that but I think she’s already let her little heart wander and imagine.”

She then spoke about Season 8, and meeting the expectations of the fans, and how it could either please or disappoint :

“It’s either going to be everything that everyone dreamed of or it’s going to be disappointing. It depends what side of the fence you sit on because there’s definitely going to be that divide. It depends what people want from the final season. I love it, but you never know.”
