We last saw Maisie’s character Ayra Stark sail off in to the sunset having turned down a happy life up north.

A talented actor, Maisie Williams said, hand on her heart, that there will not be a spin off show following her character’s travels.

She also said that having spent so long working with the Game of Thrones cast, it would be ‘strange’ doing something without them.

‘I can hand-over-my-heart say that I don’t think there’s going to be a spin off,’ Maisie Williams told Tings Magazine.

‘The show was only what it was because of David (Benioff) and Dan (Weiss), the show’s creators.

‘They brought me into this world and it would be strange to do something without them. But I do think playing Arya again would be wonderful.’

The talented actor, did however, suggest that she would be open to revisiting the story line when enough time had passed.

She added: ‘I miss her a lot. I think the show needs to stew for a little bit, but maybe a ways down the road…?’

For now, Williams is enjoying her downtime away from the set and she is reluctant to commit to another small screen role.

The 22-year-old actress will appear in a six-part series for Sky.

The show is about a young misfit who was taken away by her mother to a remote rural life after the mysterious death of her father.

Maisie will play Kim Noakes in the show — which has a working title of Two Weeks To Live — who was a little girl when she was taken to a secluded life full of bizarre survival techniques.

Now all grown up, Kim sets out into the real world for the first time to begin a secret mission to honour her father’s memory.

After that Maisie says she is getting ready to enjoy some down time away from the crazy GoT world.

‘Now that I’ve been given some time off, it’s not like I’m never going to act again, but I’m just trying to figure out some other things that I enjoy,’ she said.

‘I don’t want to sign another ten-year contract for a while. A lot of TV is incredible right now but those shooting schedules are just wild.

‘At the moment, I’m just reading a lot and figuring out what’s out there.’
