Maisie Williams has announced her first new show since the end of Game Of Thrones.
The 22-year-old actress, who played Arya Stark in the long-running HBO fantasy series, will appear in a six-part series for Sky.
The show is about a young misfit who was taken away by her mother to a remote rural life after the mysterious death of her father.
Maisie will play Kim Noakes in the show — which has a working title of Two Weeks To Live — who was a little girl when she was taken to a secluded life full of bizarre survival techniques.
Now all grown up, Kim sets out into the real world for the first time to begin a secret mission to honour her father’s memory.
Speaking about the upcoming series, Williams told the Press Association: ‘Looking forward to getting into something new, I think Two Weeks To Live has really great potential and I want to make something incredible with this wonderful team!’
Last Wednesday, Sky took to Twitter to announce the news Maisie would be joining the cast of Two Weeks To Live.
A post on the Sky One Twitter account said: ‘We’re thrilled to say @Maisie Williams will star in #TwoWeeksToLive, a darkly comic tale of love and revenge. We look forward to seeing this one.’
