Game of Thrones prequel House of The Dragon Episode 2 is right around the corner, and fans are excited to see what HBO has in store for them. However, one thing is for certain, fans are the most excited about all the amazing dragons, who were displayed in full glory in the teasers and trailers. Former Doctor Who Matt Smith is playing the role of Prince Daemon Targaryen on the show, one of the key players in the story of House of The Dragon. And his dragon, Caraxes, is going to be one of the meanest, biggest, and baddest beasts in the series.

An integral part of being a Targaryen is your ability to ride dragons. Smith talked to The Hollywood Reporter about his experience riding a dragon, “There was wind and rain and it feels like a giant motorbike. It was fun. You’re quite high up. It’s not a bad day at the office. “
He also talked about his relationship with his dragon, Caraxes, in the show, “Oh God, really interesting. There’s a kind of weird symbiosis, like with an avatar. Caraxes is really grumpy. There’s a similar cantankerous nature to both of us..”
Smith recalled meeting up with Emilia Clarke (Daenerys) before auditioning for House of The Dragon, “I had a brief conversation with [Clarke]. She was very generous. But this was before my screen test. So no, it was all a fresh experience.”
