After the finale I can confidently say that not only we gonna get the go to Essos once again but this time Volantis AND Bravos. Euron it's already heading that way and Melisandre is already there in the Red Temple. So the least we gonna get it's a glimpse of where the red priests gather. She will bring forces north to help Jon and Danny because cersie has now back off from her promise. It's full sci fi and magic against the Night King.
Volantis has been mentioned a few times already same with Essos and Bravo's. So we are definitely seeing them cities in S8

Apparently that was the last we'll see of Mel this season which sucks. I think most of us want to see a scene of her in Volantis but I don't think the show will bother.
Great breakdown man
Wow I love that idea of her bringing the army – of course for dramtic affect she would arrive at a very dark moment and save the day. I've also read that the actress had a baby this year so this trip to Volantis may have been to help accomodate that.
