Nathalie Emmanuel was spotted filming scenes for the TV adaptation of Four Weddings And A Funeral in West London on Tuesday.

The Game of Thrones star, who plays Missandei in the HBO hit show, looked far removed from her well known medieval get up as she filmed scenes for the TV series which is based on the 1994 film of the same name.

The 30-year-old Maze Runner star wore a white blouse, black trousers and long matching black coat but, controversially matched the outfit with a pair of very comfortable but mismatched Ugg boots.

The mini-series revolves around four American friends – Maya (Nathalie), Ainsley (Rebecca Rittenhouse, Craig (Brandon Mychal Smith) and Duffy (John Reynolds), who reunite at a wedding in the UK’s capital.

It was announced in 2018 that actor 60-year-old actor Andie MacDowell – who starred in the original movie – will have a guest star role in the series.

Nathalie’s sighting comes as fans fear for her character’s safety ahead of the highly-anticipated episode of Game Of Thrones next week.

With the battle of Winterfell on its way next week and talk of a battle taking 55 days to shoot, viewers are definitely in their right mind to be worried for Missandei.

Missandei and her love interest Greyworm (Jacob Anderson) have been showing some very clear signs of happiness –  which is usually an unwritten rule that something very disastrous is going to happen.

After showing the everyday racism that occurs in Winterfell, Grey Worm asks Missandei if she really wants to grow old in the North, with her suggesting that they return to Naath after the war. Grey Worm promises that the Unsullied will protect the peaceful people of Naath, and the couple share a big old passionate kiss.

So this has fans worrying that either Grey Worm will die at the hands of the Night King and his army of the dead, or Missandei will take in her last breathe in his arms.

Heck, the writers can even go for a full-blown Romeo and Juliet inspired scene and have them die in each other’s arms just to mess with our emotions.

It is safe to say that nobody – not a single soul – is safe in Westeros.

The fear for Missandei comes after calls for more diversity in Game Of Thrones – how, we don’t know as the final scenes have already been filmed – following scenes depicting casual racism.

At the very start of the premiere last week Greyworm (Jacob Anderson) and exchanged a knowing glance at each other as the Northerners gawped at their mere presence.

Black characters are originally from the Summer Isles – as depicted in GRR Martin’s novels – however, the series has so far opted out from visiting the location and restricting itself to briefly mentioning the place.

The Summer Isles is not even on HBO’s official map for GOT, but readers know that it’s towards the southeast of Westeros and its citizens are described as ‘nut brown, teak, ebony, and jet black’.

Greyworm once said he was abducted from there when he was a baby, while Xaro Xaro Xhoan Daxos, portrayed by British-Nigerian actor Nonso Anozie in 2012, said he grew up in the Summer Isles before moving to Qarth.

With only a few mentions since the show first aired in 2011, it is no surprise that the people of Winterfell looked on the way that they did.

With another four episodes to go, fans can look forward to a lot more side-splitting content.

Game Of Thrones airs Sunday night on HBO and is simulcast on NOW TV and Sky Atlantic.

It also airs Monday night on Sky Atlantic at 9 pm.
