Game of Thrones star Nathalie Emmanuel (Missandei) has signed on to join John Travolta and comedian Kevin Hart in a comedy/action series for upcoming streaming service Quibi. The title? Die Hart.

If you haven’t heard, Quibi is a new streaming service set to launch in April. It’s only viewable on smartphones via the Quibi app, and each episode of its shows will last only 10 minutes, because you’re busy and don’t have time to watch half-hour episodes of television during your commute or whatever.

According to Deadline, Die Hart will follow Kevin Hart as he plays a fictionalized version of himself. He’s tired of always playing the sidekick, so when he finds a director who will cast him as the leading man, he goes for it.

[B]ut there’s a catch: Kevin must first train at the world’s greatest action star school, run by a lunatic (Travolta). Pushed to his limits by this action school coach and a tough-minded rival student (Emmanuel), Kevin must survive a series of hilarious, over-the-top action sequences and face his fears if he wants to achieve his dream and land the role of a lifetime.

Die Hart is written by Tripper Clancy and Derek Kolstad and directed by Eric Appel. Hart will serve as executive producer.

That’s pretty impressive company for Emmanuel to be keeping. The same could be said for her costars in Fast & Furious 9: I Can’t Believe They’re Still Making These, which is due out in May.

In general, Quibi is positioning itself to be a contender in the streaming space. In addition to this show, it also has one starring Sophie Turner: Survive, about two people who live through a plane crash and must make their way down a snowy mountain:

Sold on Quibi yet?

Speaking of Turner, we have indeed heard the reports that she’s expecting her first child with husband Joe Jonas. If true, that’s obviously amazing and we congratulate her! But we’re waiting for her to confirm the news herself before jumping any guns.
