Game of Thrones might have just ended, but there are a lot of stories the show either didn’t get to finish or left open-ended. One such storyline belongs to Arya Stark, played by Maisie Williams, whom we saw wander out to discover what’s west of Westeros. Now, Maisie has said that she would be open to returning as Arya, in the future. Read on!

Speaking to Tings Magazine, Maisie discussed the possibility of a Game of Thrones spin-off that included the original characters, reports Canoe :

“I can hand-over-my-heart say that I don’t think there’s going to be a spin off. The show was only what it was because of David (Benioff) and Dan (Weiss), the show’s creators.”

She continued:

“They brought me into this world and it would be strange to do something without them. But I do think playing Arya again would be wonderful. I miss her a lot. I think the show needs to stew for a little bit, but maybe a ways down the road…?”

Well, that does give us hopes. An Arya Stark follow-up show in say, a decade, showing what she did discover and what she did with all the “No One” skills she picked, would honestly be amazing. Maisie continued to talk about what she is doing right now, and some future plans:

“Now that I’ve been given some time off, it’s not like I’m never going to act again, but I’m just trying to figure out some other things that I enjoy. I don’t want to sign another 10-year contract for a while. A lot of TV is incredible right now but those shooting schedules are just wild.

At the moment, I’m just reading a lot and figuring out what’s out there.”
