Welcome back for another Game of Thrones Season 8 Theory Video. As I was editing a clip from Daenerys Targaryen’s vision at the House of the Undying I noticed something that sounded very familiar. When Daenerys is looking around the Throne Room there is a new theme playing during this scene but if you listen closely the White Walkers Theme from Season 1 is also playing. I have used the White Walkers Theme in several of my videos before so I knew exactly what I was hearing when the drum/bell began to play. This leads me to believe they were foreshadowing the Night King coming to King’s Landing and destroying The Great Hall. Now that the Night King has Viserion he is definitely capable of causing that damage scene during Daenerys Targaryen’s vision.. Spoilers also came out this week that show a new structure being built for King’s Landing and according to those sources those buildings will be burnt to the ground by a dragon. This certainly doesn’t confirm anything but I feel there is enough evidence to make a case. Let me know what you think though. Make sure you listen very carefully to the music or else you will not hear it. Thanks for watching!

  1. I think what happens in this scene in season 2 is Dany’s story. You have to change the order of events to understand it. In fact the last event is the first.
Dany sees Drogo and her child. She crosses the wall because a dragon called her. And finally she is in KL in a destroyed palace.

  2. And please answer me on this question: when we get back in the season 1 we see a conversation between Robert Baratheon and Cersie Lannister and the was talking about which number is biger five or one and Cersie say five, and Robert shows her: "five… ONE!!! One army with one cause with a leader, and our cause died with a mad king. And i thing number one is foreshadowed for the Night king and his army, and number five is represented as a five army's of Westeros.

  3. It definitely is the ww theme music. I don't think anyone would be found it if you weren't editing that scene man. But I am a little worried that the showrunners learn of your discovery. I hope they don't change the ending to make it more suspenseful.

But damn talking thrones your perception is Sherlock Holmes level. I think you are right about the ending here. But other than dragonfire it may also be the result of a battle between dragons drogon and undead viserion. They may have grazed the ceiling. Hahaha I think I amm thinking of an impossible possibility 😉

  4. Couple things about the seen that intrigue me is that to me the roof destruction seems more from a shock wave type of blast rather than a firry one. Also, the damage is mostly to the roof which would exclude wildfire. This makes me almost certain that the hall was hit by Viserion. You probably also noticed that Daenerys puts the torch down and thus she leaves the fire behind.

  5. Good spot! Also, I think from S7E7 when Jon said "who would want to live here?" (Kings Landing) foreshadows that even if he survives he will refuse to be king. There was no other reason for the showrunners to put in that dialogue.

  6. I think the Night King will make it to King's Landing. I think that is where he will be defeated. I don't think his whole army will necessarily be with him. If he is slain then all of his army will fall instantly. I don't think the Daenerys and her dragon would try and destroy the throne room since what she desperately desires is to sit on the iron throne. That scene may also symbolize that the wheel has been broken and the old ways are no longer the norm. Just my thoughts…..

  7. It would be the perfect storm for the night king to head straight to kings landing! as his army would swell in numbers to the millions!! and it would become impossible to stop an army that size!Winterfell might end up being the last stand as some of the larger cities will be unprepared for an army of the dead, unlike the north who have the dragon glass! so for them to head south is a nightmare for the 7 kingdoms might become unstopable.

  8. Great catch! I think that when the wight in Dragonpit screamed it put up the tracker beacon for the NK just like it did north of the Wall. Why would they not gag it after that 😆 NK is coming for Cersei his queen. Well that's what I think at least.

  9. Okay I definitely agree with you on this. My only question is what happens after? In the vision Dany leaves the throne room, after she almost touches the throne, when she hears the sounds of her dragons crying. She leaves via the same door that's at the wall, and goes beyond the wall to meet Drogo/Rhaego.
So many ideas are going through my head as to what this may mean.
    – Does Drogo/Rhaego foreshadow Jon and Jon/Dany's future child? (to deny that she will get pregnant next season is ridiculous at this point)
    – Does it simply mean she is going to die and will re-unite with her dead husband and son?
    – Does it foreshadow Dany or Jon becoming the new Night Queen or Night King (since she left the throne room to go beyond the wall)
Ughhh cant wait for season 8

  10. The reason why they put the theme in (in my opinion) is because the White Walkers interrupted Danys quest for the Iron Throne, not necessarily that the white walkets physically go there.
