  1. UPDATE: Not even one day later and Target may have leaked that this is ACTUALLY happening next. It was found on their website as a placeholder title so this could be happening sooner than expected. INSANE TIMING!

  2. Personally I believe if this GOTG is real the one thing they should do is create a whole new story with whole new characters the reason why? Because true GOT fans already no the history and yes it would be cool and super awesome to see the characters of GOT weather u love them or hate them. There is only one ending to the story and to me it's not a GOT FEEL. By having all new charters and playing different charters such as a family in the tell tale series applied with responds that could potentionally kill off ppl because of your choices… basically starting your known family from nothing and working your way up to the throne whether it be up front or sneaking around in the shadows.

  3. I may be asking for too much but if GoT is getting an open world game they better NOT ruin it we need awesome combat we need sea battles/Iron Fleet we need beyond the wall…everything so much potential

  4. Personally, I don't want or care for a game of thrones games from Bethesda. Definitely not from Bethesda. They have never been great at storytelling in a way that would be suitable for game of thrones and I don't think they can do it justice. I feel like CD Projekt Red, Rocksteady or Ubisoft would handle a gsme of thrones game better. Looking back on Bethesdas work to notice their strengths and weaknesses, I can say for certain that where bethesda shines is in creating immersive and explorative experiences, environments with great world building, freedom and quests to keep you busy. They deliver on their strengths so well that all the good outweighs how they've always delivered natrative in a game which has always been lackluster and dependant on deep lore. Keep in mind that I love playing bethesda games and elder scrolls is my favorite video game franchise of all time so im not hating, im just being real about the situation. Bethesda has never delivered anything spectacular in the narrative department and game of thrones absolutely needs a strong narrative in order to be a good game of thrones game. CD Prokekt Red, Roxksteady, Ubisoft, and Telltale can pull off great game of thrones games but I just can't see bethesda doing that, nor do I want it personally.

EDIT: Cinematic storytelling is really what I was trying to get at. Bethesda has always taken more of an immersive "observe from the shoes of the player" approach to story telling. While I value Bethesdas strengths, those strengths would not be complimentary to a game of thrones game at all. A good game of thrones game needs great cinematic storytelling, not immersive storytelling and Bethesda has always sucked that that. Another dev who I'd add to my list of devs who have the potential to pull off a great game of thrones game is bioware. Yes andromeda sucked, and Dragon age 2 & inquisition weren't nearly as good as origins but the potential is still there.

  5. I believe they should make "The Dance of the Dragons" into the MMO ASOIAF game they been talking about. It'd be perfect since the game won't be limited with CGI and Budget with the Dragons.

  6. i think only bethesda could do justice on an open world game of thrones game. free roam, quest driven main story with bunch of decisions and side quests, different areas on huge map and factions, judging by skyrim, this could be huge. the game should not directly follow main story of the books of course, but a story of an unknown character (player) set somewhere in the timeline of the events of the books. you should be able to do quests for all different factions, travel and explore or regions of the ice and fire world, join those factions or stay neutral. we should also have all main characters as npcs, for immersion of the lore.

  7. I was under the impression that MMOs were kind of… on the decline. I mean WoW isn't, that one probably won't die at this point until WoW 2 invariably comes along. But I mean Elder Scrolls Online, wasn't that a monumental failure or something? I don't see FO4 being any different. If it doesn't die from a lack of quality in any way, it will die from a very small player base. Bethesda players are fans of the games because they're great, great GREAT single player experiences. If anything they should think of a way to let players play Minecraft style in the same world as their friends ONLY, but running around the wasteland with thousands of other players… no, I don't see it working. There's way too many good games out right now to waste any time sinking thousands of hours into just one title. As all MMO titles are sort of notorious for being. MMOs were cool, revolutionary even, when they came out. But now, they're just sort of a (dying) niche market.

  8. Game Of Thrones video game has potential to be the best game ever. A massive open world map of 7 kingdoms. Each kingdom holding 1 user player Kings. Each kingdom having their own starting single player story mode, from which they all mold into one multiplayer storymode for all users. Or they can allow more user players within each kingdom, such as the kings advisor, generals, religious heads, spies, etc. So many ways they could smash gaming history with GOT. They just have to go all out on it!!!!!

  9. That would be awesome however if they do it wrong shit is going to hit a fan in globe so bad I already ready for it if they make one 😂😂 oh tell tale season 2 of game of thrones is going to be awesome 👏

  10. I really hope Beth are not making a GoT game. Beth suck at making games and they have not released anything awesome since the release of Morrowind. Sure, their games are epic and big, but their stories have grown shallow and their stories predictable and boring. They aim for epicness but miss out on believeability. I'd hate to play a GoT RPG where I am THE CHOSEN ONE with UBER POWERS and where I have to SAVE THE WORLD. Again.
