New Star Wars Trilogy NOT The Old Republic | CONFIRMED | What Will It Be About? The Whills? Snoke?

Guys, The Last Jedi director, Rian Johnson, confirmed that the new Star Wars trilogy will NOT be about The Old Republic. This probably upsets many Star Wars fans, but I saw this coming when they first announced it… In fact, it’s totally understandable why they don’t want to do that in a movie trilogy. However, I do think we’ll be getting The Old Republic sooner rather than later. Let’s talk about it!

Our Humble Beginnings: The Den of Nerds started as the personal YouTube channel of our founder, Joshua Lucas. Josh is a comic book writer and editor, but more importantly, he’s a HUGE Nerd. He started making videos on June 15th 2016. The goal back then was to just talk about Nerdy things, but quickly Josh found that his interests had changed. Soon after, he formed a new vision for what The Den of Nerds could and should be.

The Changing State of Media: Media Is going through the most massive shift in the past hundred years. Everything is going digital, direct to market, and mobile. The best and worst part of this is that there are no more gatekeepers. Anyone and everyone can put their content out there and reach a mass audience. However, the new gatekeeper is the algorithm. In order to get stuff in front of people, certain practices are done which hurt quality. In this world, where established networks are now fighting for views against thousands of YouTube personalities and bloggers, ALL of these people have forgotten the most important part of this equation. That is the value for the end consumer. That is something we will NEVER do. How will we figure out how to add value to our audience? It’s simple; we’ll ACTUALLY interact with them and we’ll actually CARE.

Our Vision: We want to become the ESPN of Nerdy things, but obviously with some changes. We imagine a place and time where we have high quality and personalized content put out every day that serves Nerds around the world. We want to be hyper interactive with our viewers on Social Media and in person. Simply put, we exist to expand the fun in YOUR life! Becoming a major player in reporting, programming, and covering Nerdy things is how we plan to do that!

  9. Yes Im still holding out for the live action tv series to be old republic. But im just hugely optimistic about Rian Johnson and his new trilogy, hes done great things for the franchise so far.

  12. Rian is in his Office sitting in his chair calmly typing out ideas for the New Trilogy on his Lap Top and when he is finished he sends it to Disney to wait patiently for a reply. The Room's temperture all of a Sudden Drops. Rian feels the cold and heres a Mechanical breathing as he looks at his office doors and his Office lights shut off. Everything is pitch black. Then infront of Rian's Desk a Red Beam of energy is ignited and raised up to Reveal the Black smooth Helmet face of The Dark Lord of the Sith. Darth Vader Speaks with calmness,"Rian you have Failed me for the First Time. I Gave you direct Orders to Begin the Old Republic Franchise on the Big Screen". Rian is now sweatting horror strucked by Darth Vaders apearence. Rian stammers,"I…Im…im Sorry Lord Vader…b-but i thought this new…new…New Trilogy would be a Good idea" Then Rian grasped his hands over his neck. He couldnt breathe. He Felt the air leaving his body. Darth Vader had his Right Mechanical hand in a Grip Form,"It would be Wise not to Choke on your Ambition for this Project Rian." Darth Vader said and stopped force choking Rian. Rian fell to the floor gasping for Breathe ,"I Will Expect that Tv Show to be Based on The Old Republic. Do Not Fail me." and with that said Darth Vader De-activated his Lightsaber and placed it on it's Holder attached to Vaders Belt. Vader left the room.

That's easy it's going feature their new pet project the guardians of peace or whatever they calling the more trademarked name they replacing the jedi with going on their SJW adventures through their fucking white washed galaxy because Disney's open contempt for Star War's EU both good and bad is very fucking clear at this point.
