it all began with this.
now the wall has fallen. the night's watch have been slaughtered and the army of the dead has flooded into westeros, launching the final war.the true threat is real. its alwyas been real. its always been coming for them all.
it does harken back to the main themes of the series all along. we know dragons and zombies would invade eventually. now they have and cersei is too politically weakened to stop them.

I wish there were more suspenseful moments like this throughout the show

Even after 6 years, I still feel unease while watching this scene.

So how much leeway do you think the White Walkers have with arranging body parts? Like, do they have to be in a perfectly straight line, or is it okay of you're off by a couple inches? Does the Night King come by with a ruler to make sure everything is even, and if it's not, he gets Jeremy, the White Walker who's best at arranging corpses, to take over?

It always makes me curious as to why the White Walkers chose to make their moves now? Is it because the Targaryen dynasty is destroyed? But then it had been decades since Robert took the throne. Something stirred them. If it is because of what happened in the South of the walls, how they know? They have human spies? Doesnt seem to make sense that an evil which has lies dormant for so long just decide to make a move. And more importantly, they were humans. So why are they hellbent in killing all the humans? If the Children made them and controlled them, why they lost the control and cant just unmake them. Hard questions.

Respect to them for this scene. This sums the whole story up, and almost gives us foreshadowing to the end game. It's the Walkers, they're the real deal. Nothing else matters, it's the White Walkers who are gonna f*** everything up.

The question I've been asking for years…..what happened that shook the Walkers' out of their prone state?
