I try so hard to stay away from leaks and have always assumed they were fake. Last year people kept putting spoilers in thier thumbnails. Sigh They just dangled the carrot and I caved in. I hope we don't get any genuine leaks this year. I love surprises, but I have a hard time resisting the temptation when they are all over YouTube.

I can't imagine they'd make completely different endings that are fully finished – way too expensive. I think they were just suggesting that they may fake some filming (alongside the real stuff on location) to try and throw off and mislead people lurking in bushes with telephoto lenses. Off course, this story itself could be a double-bluff to make people sceptical of apparent leaks.

Alternative endings sound great! Hope they include them all as extras when they release the DVD/blu-ray/downloads. And thanks for committing to no spoilers. I unsubbed from every GoT channel as soon as we got within a few months of season 7 – hate having that first experience of the story spoilt.

Ugh fake filming is going kill a budget that is already stressed to the limit. They should just pull a Netflix and release the season one day one.

When your oven repair guy turns out to be a huge Game fan, and chills for an hour after the repair is done to discuss the Bran is the Night King Theory…….. best 200 bucks I spent this year! Takes all the fear out of my fridge being on its last leg. Coolest repair guy ever.

I wonder if they will include the "fake" scenes on the DVD extras? That would be kinda cool if they did. I think I'm going to make better effort to avoid spoilers next season. I didn't this past season & it affected my enjoying the show I think. It's so difficult though, so many places covering GOTs news now…

Ot reminded me of the Big bang Theory episode where Howard's friends found out (against his wishes ) about what Howard's father wrote to him in a sealed envelope from xx years back. Long story shirt, since he was upset that they knew but he did not (amd was mot sure if he wanted to know) they presented him with multiple "endings"/ possible messages that were inside. He was presented possible message but did not know which one was the real one.

My ideal ending: Jon as Azor Ahai wielding Lightbringer & riding Rheagal leads The Realms of Men victoriously against The Army of The Dead & ultimately fights & defeats The Night King while Danearys dies during the final battle. Jon reluctantly accepts his birthright as the rightful king but does not take his Targaryen name remaining Jon Snow or Jon Stark as he will always see himself first & foremost a Stark. After Jon mourns Danearys for a time & once they finally realize that Ned never cheated on Catelyn & that they're not actually siblings and now that Littlefinger & his poisonous influence has been permanently eradicated, Jon & Sansa's relationship not only improves greatly but eventually evolves into love & Jon ultimately takes Sansa as his wife & queen 🙂

this is a good development, those leaks and spoilers last season were incredibly annoying and no matter how many people asked not to spoil in the comments, they still did.

I hope the do release alternate endings after filming if the almighty bottom line budget allows it. It woul be interesting if Cersei would last minute,do something amazing to actually help in the battle, even if it costs her life.

Yes, absolute fakes, and definitely poorly written. I truly limit my viewing to only a few "trusted" content creators who adhere to decent investigative work and thoughtful commentary. You are exceptional Kev.

They better not blow the Direwolf budget on these alternate endings, we need Ghost more than we need protection from spoilers.
