Game Of Thrones has wrapped filming for good, with the cast saying goodbye to the characters they’ve been playing since 2011.
And for Emilia Clarke, that also means saying goodbye to Daenerys Targaryen’s ice white hair.
The 32-year-old has gone back to brunette, and showcased her new/old look at the Oscars, which she showed up to in a dress she can’t pee in.
Her words, not hours.
While on her way to the Dolby Theatre, Emilia shared a selfie from her car, showing off her brunette hair and eyebrows, as well as the statement neckline of her lilac gown.
She wrote: ‘Blondes have more fun eh?! Well I will see about that this fine #oscar2019 evening….. let the good times roll.’
Emilia added the hashtags: ‘#illegitimatelycantpeeinthisdress #butwhocaresitsthegoddamnoscars!’
A girl after our own hearts.
And the actress showed off her dress in full effect on the red carpet, standing out in a metallic lilac gown with an asymmetric bodice.
The Me Before You star accessorised with drop earrings, and when she turned, she showed that her brunette hair has been cut into a chic blunt bob.
So long, Daenerys’s extensions.
Emilia is among the stars who will be presenting an award tonight at the Academy Awards, and is far from the first TV star to walk the red carpet.
Pose’s Billy Porter basically won the entire night in a velvet tuxedo gown, while queen of organisation Marie Kondo was there to remind us what sparks joy.
Drag Race star Shangela was also repping A Star Is Born, in which she plays Lady Gaga’s drag mother, earlier in the evening.
