Outlander star Sam Heughan is teaming up with the Edinburgh Youth Theatre to host an acting Masterclass on Monday, September 20 at 12:00 noon PDT. As he shared on his Instagram, the class will find him “talking all things ‘Acting’ (how best to wear tights, what to steal from Kraft Service and upgrading your trailer).
If you’re a fan of Sam Heughan’s then this is an event you simply must attend, as he will go into stories about his life on stage and screen. (Maybe he’ll even talk about the time he played Batman.) Who wouldn’t want to get career advice from Jamie freaking Fraser?

Because this event is to raise funds, there is a suggested price of £20 + fees, but attendees are welcome to donate whatever they feel comfortable with. Given it’s Sam Heughan, I think the Edinburgh Youth Theatre can expect a decent amount of donations coming in!
Heughan will be interviewed by director and Scottish actor Shauna McDonald; fans will be able to ask questions too. What I wouldn’t give to be the person screening the fan questions…
