Alliser Thorne might have stabbed his Lord Commander “for the watch” and had been hanged for treason in Game Of Thrones Season Six, but still the actor still feels pretty connected to the show. Well, Owen Teale – the actor who played Throne in the series revealed that he might know what happens in Season 8. Read on.
Game of Thrones Season 8 is on its way and we can’t exactly figure out what’s going to happen next. For this reason, we have to rely on the latest news and interview of cast members to make our guesses. So be it! Owen Teale recently had an interview with the Metro and upon being asked what happens in the final season, he replied:
“I think I’ve got a rough idea, yes, from conversations when I was there last about a year ago…But I wouldn’t be surprised if it was a little bit different.’
The actor was reluctant to give any further details on the final season like we expect him to be. Still, the ex-Game of Thrones actor feels connected to the series and discussed a funny incident that happened with him right after the episode where Jon Snow gets stabbed by Alliser, Olly, and a few others. He revealed:
‘I remember a guy coming up to me in Greece with a knife in his hand in a restaurant…‘I was filming in Athens and he came over in this restaurant, he might have had a drink, and I said, “Could you just put the knife down?” And he said, “No, you hold the knife.” He gave me the knife and I was feeling better now but still, it was a strange situation…”
“…‘I’ve got the knife in my hand and he says, “Now I want a selfie with you and knife in my chest.” I get a lot of that,’ the actor said.
Owens currently plays the role of Peter Knox in a new Sky Atlantic TV series ‘A Discovery of Witches’. Talking about his new role and the new TV series, the actor said:
‘What attracted me was that it’s a very powerful character… He’s got a clear goal and his eye on the main prize, and that’s the manuscript he’s been looking for pretty much all his life.’
The TV series is based upon beloved book series by Deborah Harkness. Talking further about the show, Owen ended by saying:
‘I did a sort of comparison with people who are like that in life, human beings…People who have got a cause, anybody who feels they’ve been oppressed as a race…We’re talking about a species I suppose really. That’s what he feels, that the vampires have them in a secondary position – they’ve been second-class creates and he wants to put the witches back on top.’
