  1. So you have no idea what Patchface talks about ;D I am crying for your channel mate. You have no explanation for characters and all those mystic things. Just make videos on TV show please

  2. About the starfish and crab quote, I've got no idea what the starfish means, but the crabs could be either be

    a) the Rhoynar, who got beaten and some of them enslaved by the Valyrians, and were worshipping river gods, a crab amongst them, or, less likely,

    b) the Faceless men, since their originate from slaves in Valyria, and crabs could be considered dangerous in a metaphorical sense, since they pinch

  3. I've wondered about the weapons of the White Walkers, they are more lances than swords- stabbing weapons. Can the white walkers survive under water? If we take under the sea to mean winter, then the mermen feasting could mean the white walkers raising the dead of the war of the five kings- starfish soup- as they travel south. I know, I know.

  4. Patchface intrigues me. He drowned when the ship sank, and was dead for three days, before coughing up water and came back to life. This reminds me of the Ironborn – "what is dead may never die". The Ironborn are submerged in sea water until they appear to be dead. When the priest raises them up out of the water, he expels the water from their lungs, and they breathe air again. Their apparent belief is that the Ironborn have already gone through the death process, therefore cannot die again.

Melisandre says she has seen Patchface many times in the flames, and that he is dangerous. Since the Lord of Light sends the visions to the flames, does that mean that Patchface is important in the Lord of Light's grand scheme? Stannis's Maester said he also does magic. There are few sources of magic in the known world: Valyria, Asshai, Children of the Forest, White Walkers and the Red God. Therefore, Patchface is part of the plans of the Red God R'hllor.

The only person we know who worships R'hllor is Melisandre, (and possibly Thoros of Myr) who says all her powers derive from him – yet when she looks into her flames to see R'hllor, all she can see is "Snow". There is no clear evidence that R'hllor even exists – but then, which of us has ever seen God, in the flames or anywhere else?

  5. I've always thought of Patchface as The Drowned God, or something similar, since I don't believe TDG actually exists. Perhaps having been drowned caused him to have god-like powers, or have something revealed to him through the death that the Ironborn revere.

  6. Someone can correct me if I am wrong as I havent read the books,

But, what puzzles me, why a man who was dead (presumably) under the sea for days and then returned alive, who then speaks in cryptic, prophetic riddles, why the Ironborn would not be desperately intereste in this min due to their affiliation with the Drowned God.
