According to Variety, Game of Thrones veteran Pedro Pascal and Stranger Things star David Harbour are teaming up for an HBO limited series called My Dentistâs Murder Trial. (Interesting title, right?) I believe the correct way to react to this is, âholy zaddy duoâ! The two of them coming together for a series is a dream come true. I mean Pedro Pascal and David Harbour?! Yes, please.
I am not entirely sure how Pedro Pascal even has the time to take on more projects, but heâs making it work. Doesnât he have The Mandalorian season 3? What about the HBO show The Last of Us? This guy is nonstop and Iâm here for it.
Pedro Pascal and David Harbour join forces for My Dentistâs Murder Trial
Along with starring in it, Pascal and Harbour will be executive producers the limited series, which is inspired by a New Yorker article by James Lasdun about Dr. Gilberto Nunez, who was indicted for the death of his friend Thomas Kolman. Apparently, the doctor got his friend to ingest a substance that ultimately led to his death.
This sounds like a drama thriller series, although the title is kind of comedic. Whatever the show turns out to be, I cannot wait to watch and obsess over it, particularly with Pascal and Harbour in the lead roles. Variety doesnât say whoâs playing the doctor and who the friend, but if I had to guess Iâd say Pascal is the dentist and Harbour his buddy. At least thatâs how I envision it.
There is no premiere date for the series yet, but rest assured we will keep you all updated as we learn new information!
