The final season of Game of Thrones might be months away, but the interviews of the cast members these days won’t let us live in complete darkness. They often tease about the final season being epic, the ending being not satisfying, and, even multiple main character deaths. Recently enough, Peter Dinklage – who plays Tyrion Lannister in the series, teased epic battles in the final season. Read on.
The TV series has been ahead of books since the sixth season, which has made it harder for the fans to speculate the end-game. Although we won’t get much info, we sure have much to look forward to in the final season watching Dinklage tease the final season.
While attending the premiere of his new movie ‘I Think We’re Alone Now’, Dinklage teased epic battles in the upcoming season. Upon being asked by a reporter “one question, can the Battle of the Bastards possibly be topped?” the actor confidently replied:
“Oh my god, and then some. You are in for it.Truly.”
But, the question still lingers in our minds. Game of Thrones previously has had massive action sequences in many episodes like ‘Hardhome’, ‘Spoils of War’, and, last but the least ‘The Battle of the Bastards.’ Still, we get a major hint from the fact that a 55-day-long battle sequence was filmed at Moneyglass where most of the Winterfell scenes are shot.
Also, we have seen leaked images of Winterfell and King’s Landing sets ablaze. This makes it safe for us to assume that the final season of Game of Thrones will surely top epic battles like ‘the Battle of the Bastards’. Moreover, Game of Thrones has a huge budget for each episode of the final season, which will involve a lot of CGI and large battle sequences.
We are surely up for huge battles in Game of Thrones Season 8, are you? Tell us your thoughts in the comments.
