Philippa Goslett joins the writing staff of House of the Dragon

Writing on his blog Not A Blog, author George R.R. Martin mentioned that he had taken a trip to Leavesden Studios, to view the shooting of House of the Dragon Season 2. Martin mentioned that he watched the first two episodes of Season 2 and that they were deeply emotional.

He also mentioned that he spent time with showrunner Ryan Condal and the writing staff of the show, in which he mentioned writer Philippa Goslett’s name as well. Martin wrote:

“I also spent two days locked in a room with Ryan Condal and his writing staff (Sara Hess, Ti Mikkel, David Hancock, and Philippa Goslett) talking about the third and fourth seasons of HOUSE OF THE DRAGON.   They were lively, fun discussions, and we got some good work done… though two days was not nearly enough.   There is so much ground to cover that I am not sure twenty days would have been enough.”

Philippa Goslett has previously worked on the HBO show The Nevers created by Joss Whedon. She has also been a screenwriter for the movie Mary Magdalene and worked on the Spanish-British film Little Ashes starring actor Robert Pattinson.
