After his father and oldest brother Rodrik are killed in the betrayal at the Red Wedding, young Ethan officially becomes the new head of House Forrester. Ethan succeeds despite being the third son because second son Asher Forrester was exiled some years before. House Bolton is enforcing its new Lannister-backed rule of the North.
The Bolton forces in the North are led by the psychotic Ramsay Snow, but Ethan declares that he does not fear him. Due to the actions of Gared Tuttle, Ramsay is sent to take care of a dispute between the Forresters and the Whitehills. After Ramsay arrives, he is greeted by Ethan and they begin to discuss the fate of the Forrester’s Ironwood supply. Things seem to be going well until Ramsay begins to toy with Ethan’s siblings; Talia and Ryon. Ethan convinces him to stand down, and Ramsay seems to pull back…

  1. The whitehille family hate the Foresters so much they want to eradicate them, even if Whitehall suvernts and villagers at Ironrath are killed in the battle at Episode 6. They don't care about their loss. All Ludd cares about is killing all the Foresters. What makes Ludd and his family hate Foresters so much they want war?
