That episode (Spoils of War), was a memorable piece of art in an overall really mediocre season.

this is great. George Lucas did the same with Air Combat scenes for the first Star Wars. They even cut together reels of footage from previous movies and mimicked them directly!
You forgot about Dragon from Shrek.
