I think they were trying to suggest that the message was sent by that church intern kid. And the whole "is Jonah in charge" thing had a hidden meaning, he was checking her loyalty for Jonah. Some sense of "if my daughter is with the other kids then I can find all of them".

The action in the beginning was shiiiiiiiiit. This show does the characters really well if a bit goofy at times (Gert being the biggest one)

The CGI dinosaur was awesome but you can clearly tell it's CG and all it did most of the season was exist and be emotional support.

This show has some things to fix for sure but it's still pretty good TV.

Within the context of the show, because Alex was the one who got them all together and also saw the ritual with them, it would be a hard sell to explain how and when he became a mole for Jona. Also for what reason…

About 3-4mounths ago I had now idea that I will be so hungry for the next season(didn't read runaways commics)… Now I'm glad U making vids on that show and also sad that I will have to wait for next episodes… I guess it's 2:1 for Marvel's shows(netflix series not included) in case of making great shows… If only DC's bosses would go this road…

I agree the battle scene fell flat, but I wouldn't go as far as to say it was nonsensical. Yes the kids have powers, but (1) they ARE kids (2) having powers doesn't mean they know how to use them. Nico got immediately disarmed by a more knowledgeable adult, which makes sense to me, so not much use there. All karolina knew up to that point was she could fly and glow (if you think about it, it was pretty stupid how she just knew to mimic viktor's light show). Old lace got incapacitated, and what did you expect Gert to do anyway? Order old lace to basically maul her parents? Molly has super strength, but no training. She could run at Viktor and most likely get shot along the way, ''cause the guy is clearly equipped for long-range combat. Alex has the witts to know when to retreat. And chase tried but the fistiguns are basically useless against tina's shield. Overall the scene made sense. It fell flat, and because of it, it was actually refreshing, none of that dumbfuckery you see in movies when the hero automatically just knows how to use the powers. They are kids, who up till then lived pretty innocent lives, fighting against their parents, which most likely isn't easy. It would be unrealistic to expect them to just kick ass right off the bat

I enjoyed season 1 but it felt overly soap opera-ish and like you said that confrontation that had been building up for so many episodes fell flat, but I like the characters

The newspaper at the end said "Earthquake Watch: Is LA next?" Could that mean something?

I cringed when they shipped Nico and karolina. It just felt like some LGBT shit just to appeal to the diversity club.
It seems too forced how did Nico went from going out with Alex to falling in love with karolina cuz she gave her a kiss. Bad writing.

yeah i get it. With the 'fight' at the beginning i was like "oh no, jonah slightly inconvenienced them by pushing them over". The kids did nothing of note also and it was quite awkward. But I loved the season as a whole

I agree with you on the action sequence, this show needs more action. All of them has such cool powers but they don't use them. And also Nico doesn't have her wand with her on the run so that wouldn't that cool. I really wish the show writers don't​ turn Alex into a mole.

They teased a Defenders crossover at the bus station when they said just choose the one that leaves the soonest which was one way to New York. Then they had to fuck it up with the Americas Most Wanted framing smh

i didnt know gerts parents were time travelers i thought that was victor since he had that mini machine that lets him see the future
also they killed all those children for renewable energy thats stupid so they cant judge leslie when they all helped kill innocents
i hope we meet ultrons son and karolina's gf the skrull shifter i dont really care for her with nico
so since jonah gets weaker when he uses his abilities that means it will happen to karolina sooner or later
and what deal did alex make with that drug dealer guy
