At his peak — with the release of the report in April — Mueller generated 30.1 million social media interactions, outpacing the peak interactions of Avengers, at 10.5 million, and Game of Thrones, at 10.2 million.

Axios based its report on data the outlet acquired from social media analytics company NewsWhip.

The data shows Mueller continued to be one of the most trending topics during last week’s House committee hearings when Mueller generated 14.3 million social media interactions between Monday and Friday.

Mueller testified in front of the House Judiciary and Intelligence Committees last week for a combined total of more than five hours.

The former special counsel frustrated lawmakers from both sides of the aisle by refusing to answer a number of questions while referring them back to his report. He was asked about an array of topics from the findings outlined in his 448-page report on Russian election interference.
