OMG , I just noticed that In the evil morty episode one of the slides is rick looking at morty in a suit which makes me think that rick and evil morty used to be on the same adventure!

In season 3 ep 1 Morty introduces himself as morty c137 when the ricks confront him… meaning that the morty we see is ricks original morty.

yah that episode was the best yet i dont kno abouy evil morty but i think he might enslave all the ricks on the citadel

Throwing out another theory, all the Ricks and Mortys we've seen have been from within the "central finite curve" what if this is a term for all universe where a Rick cracked interdimensional travel and therefore contains a smart Rick and stupid Morty. What if evil Morty comes from outside the central finite curve where there are Smart Mortys and stupid Ricks. Then the Smartest Morty encounters a universe where Ricks treat Mortys like objects and his ego just can't take it…

I used to like these theories, but the last episode broke the fun of speculating completely for me. Parallel universes, mind-switching (or body-swapping, however you want), and now memory erasing – and if you noticed even memory altering… only time travel is missing to make literally everything possible. My theory is that evil morty is a chair beth from that chair universe that just swapped some bodies and altered some memories. Prove me wrong. No fun speculating when everything is possible.

Moment of 13th birthday… What if this memory had taken from another Morty (not our Morty)? It can be true because he returned to his family later.
Maybe our Rick isn't from dimention C-137, but from another dimention. And every time when he needed to left this dimention he took all memories of all Morty and went away.

Could it be that evil Morty is that Morty designed to be dramtic? the one that wish things would be different and jumps into the interdimentional dump?

What if the show is reversed, what if it shows the end first and it shows the start at the end

If Evil Morty is 2 away from Rick, that means that Evil morty is basically Rick. But you can see that Morty doesn't care for family, so maybe Evil Morty is a representation of Rick if he didn't care for his family.

Don't we already know that the pilot wasn't the first adventure? Principle Vagina tells Beth and Jerry in that same episode that Morty had only attended a total of seven hours of classes during the entire school year. So, unless the year had just started, it's hard to believe that the pilot was actually their first adventure.

Evil morty vs good morty, I can smell it coming!

Morty didn't retain the memory of the Truth Turtle at all. If you notice when they first get in the secret memory room, Morty doesn't have bags under his eyes anymore, and you can see Rick putting a purple memory vial in an open spot. He got the memory wiped while they were climbing down to the memory room.

This episode was definitely a mind f#@k but one of the most enjoyable this season. Nice theory though man!

Wasn't Slow Rick, or Tall Morty, a reference to a Rick who showed up in the comics? When Morty was curious about seeing a universe where their dynamics were switched? I mean, it would make sense, considering what happened there with another Morty…

What if all those mindblowers are Evil Morty's, cause there has been memories of "Evil Morty" winning Rick at checkers and outsmarting him in some things and in this video you say he's a smarter Morty so…

I think the whole evil morty build up is just one big mis-direction.

One thing this series always tries to show us (with any version morty) when morty loses his concious/ empathy for other… morty gets scary
