Can you please let Lessa and Rick react to Clavin's reaction to this episode?

This reaction was pretty much what I expected. I don't think Rick's all that invested in the characters. He seems more interested in analyzing stuff and making connections to history. That kind of reaction doesn't really do much for me, personally. I do appreciate the honesty though – At least it's not one of those obviously fake overreactions. At this point though, I'm here mainly for Lessa. Can't wait to see her reaction to the end of Season 4, lol. XD

As soon as the doors were bolted and "The Rains of Castamere" began to play, Calvin's smile faded, and his eyes glazed over. No matter how many times you see it, it is so difficult to watch such beloved characters being absolutely butchered. :'(

Yeah… I was like Calvin in my first viewing. No over the top emotions, just a depressed, soulless expression as we stared into the abyss.

A coat of gold, a coat of red

The Black Dinner was actually GRRM's main inspiration for the Red Wedding. Also, the throat slitting wasn't CGI.

You'd think they had just completed watching ep 1. Lessa would probably be more emotionally invested…..but for rick's sarcasm! Thrones isn't SATIRE! WORST reaction ever.

As much as i love truly loved this second watch with Rick and Calvins sister and Calvin as lead chair. I just dont think Episode 9 could farely redo the utter silence and defeated sad Calvin where he could not speak and Aaron had to come in and help finish the episode.

The next episode (finale) I think has more emotional heft than this one. It's terrible seeing the Hound taking Arya through slaughter field, and seeing how even he is shocked and disgusted by the sight of those terrible people parading Rob's defiled corpse through the courtyard with his wolf head stuck on his shoulders, and moreso because you can see that he truly feels bad for Arya.
