Riverdale’s Lili Reinhart has slammed Game Of Thrones fans demanding that the entire eighth season is remade.

Over 1million viewers have now signed the campaign and the actress, who plays Betty Cooper in the CW series, weighed in on the whole saga and branded it ‘ridiculous’ before calling demands for changes ‘incredibly entitled’ in an epic rant.

Commenting on photo posted on Instagram, Lili began: ‘This is not how television works… TV shows are not [a] fan service.

‘It’s ridiculous of people to think they can demand creative changes from artists.’

The 22-year-old then posted on her own story, telling her 17.3million followers: ‘For the people coming at me for my Game of Thrones petition comment: It’s inappropriate as an audience member to demand change from an entire crew of writers, creators, performers, etc. just because it did not satisfy you.

‘Fans, of course, are an incredibly large reason why shows are successful… But it does not excuse certain destructive and disrespectful behavior towards people who have dedicated their entire lives to creating a show or film.’

She added: ‘Try to imagine this: A person walks into a painter’s gallery… a painter they have always been a fan of… and they tell the artist “I don’t like what you did here. You probably should’ve done it this way”.

‘That would be incredibly entitled, no? So think about it that way. Bye.’

Lili isn’t the only actor who has spoken out about the online campaign.

Game Of Thrones star Isaac Hempstead Wright also criticised the movement, telling The Hollywood Reporter: ‘It’s just absurd. I can’t even fathom it. It’s just ridiculous.

‘It’s ridiculous that people think they can just demand a different ending because they don’t like it. I have stupidly taken it quite personally, which obviously I shouldn’t. In my opinion, it’s a great ending.’

Game Of Thrones season eight finale airs tonight in the US on HBO, Sky Atlantic and NOW TV.
