Everything about this scene is perfection.
The pacing, the way it was shot, the atmosphere, the buildup, the score and of course the performances from Ben Mendelsohn and James Earl Jones are just fantastic.

Holy shit this scene pisses me off so much. Vader's voice work is so off compared to the original trilogy… the cheesy dumb writing is nothing Vader would say in a million years. The body language also doesn't work, Vader wouldn't move around someone in the way or look away at the window, seemingly anxious. And the suit looks worse than a cosplay Vader. I can't believe Rogue One f***ed Vader this hard. Whoever was apart of making this scene should be ashamed with the final product.

Loved this scene but it feels sort of useless to the story. Krennic is there to determine who's actually in command of the Death Star and to remind Vader that he didnt actually order the weapon to fire on the city. But Vader didnt actually address any of his concerns.. he just said "hey, do better. watch yourself". So Krennic walks away with possibly less information than he had going into the meeting. Idk. I'll just be happy Vaders on screen.
