Jon Snow and Ygritte were a memorable and fun-loving couple on Game of Thrones. The free-minded wildling (Ygritte) taught a lot of things about life to the then watcher of the wall (Jon). Ygritte’s famous line for Snow- ‘You know nothing Jon Snow‘ became a catchphrase amongst the fans. It seems they are just as fun-loving in real life.
In an interview with the New York Post, Rose Leslie, who played Ygritte in the show, revealed how she once shaved Kit Harington’s (Jon Snow) head. She explained, “[Kit] was like, ‘Can you do the back, because I can’t see it with the mirror?’”
“And I was so engrossed with my girlfriend, we were having such a lovely time, and I was like, ‘Yeah yeah yeah, fine, whatever.’”
Rose, who is right-handed, recalled that she had her phone in her right hand at the time, adding, “I took the shears in my left hand, and… I dug too deep. I dug too deep! It was rather hilarious, but also awful. Fortunately, he looks great with a semi-shaved head, so it was fine.”
The reel life couple turned into real-life couple back in 2018 when they tied the knot in Scotland. The star-studded wedding created quite a buzz in the Game of Thrones community. The couple has been happily married ever since.
