Sean Bean has let slip a Game Of Thrones TV special hosted by Conan O’Brien is on the way, which reunites the entire cast.

The 59-year-old actor, who played Ned Stark in the show’s first season, revealed how he recently met up with the cast to film a special to mark the show’s end with season eight.

Asked by The Hollywood Reporter if he’s in contact with Stark family members, Sean said: ‘Nobody, nobody at all! (laughs). I’ve only seen them on a couple of occasions.

‘Last time, was about four weeks ago in Belfast. Conan O’Brien did this thing. It was the last episode, so we all got together. It was good!

‘It’s funny with work, you don’t really keep in touch. You do so many types of jobs in that part of the world. It’s just like whenever I see old friends or even old drama school friends, it’s just the same, we pick up where we left off last time.’

Pressed further on if Conan did a Game Of Thrones special, Sean added: ‘Yes, it was for season eight, the last one.

‘So they decided to get all the characters together for a bit for this big show in Belfast and he kind of hosted the evening.’

Conan has previously interviewed the cast on numerous occasions, including back in 2015 following season five’s release.

It’s unclear when the Conan special will air, with everyone still trying to figure out exactly when Game Of Thrones season eight will drop onto screens.

Game Of Thrones season eight is set to be released in 2019.
