  1. So did anyone else notice that one of the books the Grand Maester loaded into Sam's arm pile was titled "All History of the House of Lannister" followed by the comment that the author was an excellent re-searcher but a horrible writer? The Grand Maester also inferred that books by boring writers sat on the shelves unread. I think the only reason the title of the book was shown means Sam is going to find another answer in it. That answer is going to reveal that the Mad King is Tyrion's father. How else would this truth come to light?

  2. I have considered that taking Heartsbane may be the first time Sam has done anything that impressed Randyll. Perhaps he secretly hoped that threatening Sam would force him to demand his birthright rather than slink away because he was told to. If this show illustrates anything clearly it's that parents are perfectly capable of loving their children while still doing every possible thing to destroy them one way or another.
There is also the PR aspect. Going after the sword means admitting that it has been taken. There aren't many things more superstitious than an army. Having lost the blade he wielded in all his great victories wouldn't be fabulous for morale, and people might question whether a man who can't even keep hold of his ancestral sword should be leader of anything.

  3. I've been following your content for over a year now. I love what you post! It's very thought provoking. I was finally able to subscribe with the help of my daughter! I love your views, angles, and thoughts; they are presented in a very intelligent context. I will continue to follow and would to contribute if I can!

  4. Energy harvesting at its worse. What they do to the women in this episode, made it clear who's behind the show, now…Ill pirate after its over and skip through. Wont give my energy to this loosh ritual anymore, good grief…starving parasititic bastards

  5. I didnt see Theon's move as cowardly. I found it to be more strategic and perhaps a sign that he is growing as a person and potential leader by not going into this headfirst. As you said, Theon would not have won that battle. It would have ended with either one or both of their deaths/capture. When was the last time Theon was actually fighting fit? Again, like you said, I took this to be a move that would ensure that he could in some way help his sister later. Survive to fight another day rather than die a hero now

  6. Danny is after the iron throne but Jon couldn't care less about it because he's more concerned about the white walkers. I wonder how that meeting is going to pan out because the two have completely different agendas. However, one thing is for sure this would be one hell of an alliance.

  7. Umm.. I would say that Nymeria hadn't gone with Arya seems sensible because she is the pack leader, but after their get-together, Arya says a sentence that could be read both ways "that's not you" as in – that's not Nymeria anymore. OR – that is not Arya anymore since her background of what went down with the face gods is still shadowed.. so Nymeria must have known that Arya isn't Arya – Animals always know.

  8. Question for The Last Harpy: There are rumours that Bran will tell Sansa something by the weirwood tree in the next episode after which she walks away. Seeing as Jon is the only northerner fighting beyond the wall in the trailer, do you think it's possible Bran tells Sansa about Jon (with good intentions) but Sansa announces it to the other lords who dismiss Jon completely ("a Targaryen cannot be trusted" from episode 2 could be foreshadowing)? He then somehow meets with the Brotherhood without banners and heads with them and Davos beyond the wall, after realizing he doesn't have the North's support anymore.

Wouldn't it be interesting that he loses popularity, not gains it if his parentage is revealed?

  9. Honestly, before u had completely written if the theory of arya dying to the waif, but after that awkward hot pie reunion I'm really not sure. Am I the only one that felt it was strange?

  10. The sword Sam stole is called Heart's Bane… I could see Sam giving the sword to Jorah.. last part of the Azor prophecy is stabbing loved one in the heart…. Jorah loves Dany more than anyone in the show loves another character. There's also other parts of the prophecy Jorah fits into also.
