Hodor may have actually survived. He wasn't wearing wight undead makeup. He actually die onscreen. He may have fought them off being the big giant monster. And since the time warp warg insident that made him say "hodor" all the time has since past, he may return to normal and talk again since he did accomplish his mission to "hold the door."

Hopefully Hodor's mental issues make him incapable of turning to a wight….

I find it odd (and potentially revealing) that they show Bran warging, Jamie with his gold hand and Tormund with a scar on his forehead… but, they don't show Hodor changed into a wight. HMM… could that mean something?

Before season 7 start, let me just clear it up, so Gendry's father smashed (with warhammer, dont get me wrong) Jon's dad and Dany's brother, Daenerys's father and Jon's grandfather killed Jon's uncle and his other grandfather, Jon and Daenerys are related, Tyrion's brother killed Dany's dad and his nephew killed Jon's uncle and (kind of) jon's cousin,tyrion's sister killed gendry's father, but at the end tyrion might also be a targaryen, so all of them might actually be related.
Best show ever.
