Winter, Jon Snow has been warning for several seasons, is coming. In fact, Game of Thrones season seven saw the long night arrive in style, as a snowflake fell in King’s Landing and, in the north, an ice dragon destroy the Wall. With plummeting temperatures, is it really that surprising that the most recent season of HBO’s fantasy drama was also the least naked we’ve seen yet?
Well, yes. Because nudity, specifically sexual nudity, has always been an integral part of Game of Thrones’ offering. As Ian McShane, who appeared in the show, summed up to The Telegraph: “it’s only tits and dragons”.
