  1. I highly disagree with your approach about selective legacy. A castle is not the same as murdering people. Comparing real estate and behaviour is not the same thing. Apart from genetics (that could trigger madness) you can grow wildly different from your parents, or very similar. Who knows ?
You do not inherit the behaviour or ideas of your parents 100% of the time. I'm going to say it again: family heirloom =/= an ancestor's actions.

A kid is not responsible nor guilty of his parents' actions. He can give back the profits obtained from misdeeds/crimes to have a clean slate but he is not responsible. At best he can acknowledge the errors of an ancestor's way.

Your comparison was not really convincing because of the different natures between a static monument and the particular and personal traits of an individual.

  2. I see mostly posetive remarks about the Tyrion Sercie talk. persanolly I didn't like it. Danny even brigs up that she didn't come to lose her advisor. yet Tyrion turns out to have no plan, and just talks to her because? then he succeds and it turns out to be a fake. what a mastermind Cercie is, planing on doing a fakeout from someone coming in with no logical reason, and higher chance of death.

I would say that you could see Danny as having grown, by being able to listen to advisors, and not be a know it all (one could say, Merine was not her peoples best time). Also she has not spent close to any time in Westeros, only heard storys. so listening to advisors, can make sence. how ever i chuck it all up to sloopy writing.

  3. If my only options are 1.) I don't get to inherit from my ancestors, or 2.) I inherit the bad things they did I will pick option 3.) my ancestors did nothing wrong. I don't mind having a conversion about the wrongs of the past, and trying to right them. However I will be damned before I let people tear down this country.

  4. I still think Tyrion's strategy was sound; it was the execution that was flawed. If the Reach and Dorne had rallied their banners while Dany was sailing from Meereen (or at least, before/during the initial meeting on Dragonstone), then those armies could have been in place directly after the Dragonstone meeting. Euron attacked while they were en-route to gather their force; that army should have already been assembled and marching north towards Kings Landing by then.

  5. I thought Tyrion's meeting with Cercei made it clear that he absolutely was still sympathetic to his family and had been deliberately going easy on them. I'm actually surprised more people haven't mentioned it, to me it was a pretty big reveal. I wouldn't be surprised if he told Cercei to lie about marching North, that way Dany would go fight the dead while his family is still alive and after she comes back they might be in a better position to negotiate.

  6. I have t say, the scene with davos and the goldcloaks was the best in the season an one of my faves full stop, we are told over an over how hes the beast of smuggling but gettin t see him in action was awesome and certainly more proof than watchin him row a boat at night lol

  7. Tyrion engineered the union of Dany & Jon in 2 ways. He encouraged Dany to work towards an alliance and he told her that Jon likes her. Tyrion's concerned look could mean a lot of things. But Tyrion has a handle on Jon. This is good for Tyrion.

  8. This season was bad… This season was boring… I can't rewatch the episodes again because I just get bored and end up fast fowarding to Cercei's scenes or Jon and Daenarys' sex scene…and when Daenarys saves Jon and the others… I rewatch the ealier seasons and I don't find myself fast forwarding through scenes… Such an empty season. I like Daenarys…. I find her interesting… She does bore me sometimes…..

  9. What i dont get is why Littlefinger didnt go after Bran. He was the most dangerous for him and he must have realized that after the chaos is a ladder line. where was the benefit to sow conflict between Arya and Sansa???

  10. These videos are not very entertaining. Too much summary, not enough Preston. I feel like you really should have cut loose hard and went in on the show. Can't wait for Nights Watch Part 3!
