The stars of Game of Thrones are out there making it happen. Let us count the ways.
First up, Alfie Allen, who played Theon Greyjoy for all eight seasons of HBO’s hit, is making his Broadway debut in Martin McDonagh’s Hangman, and getting glowing reviews; Deadline singled out his performance as a “stand-out” and said he plays a “menacing” character. “[D]on’t look for any hints of his broken-spirited Game of Thrones character Theon ‘Reek’ Greyjoy here.”
It’s great to hear that Allen is killing it on the stage! He was always excellent as Theon and I’m sure his talents can take him anywhere he wants to go. Allen himself posted an image from Hangman on his Instagram:
Hangman is playing at the Golden Theatre through June 18.
Pedro Pascal and John Bradley promote their movies!
Moving on, Pedro Pascal (Oberyn Martell) is talking up his new movie The Unbearable Weight of Massive Talent, where he stars alongside Nicolas Cage, who plays a fictionalized version of Nicolas Cage. Below he talks about being a badass onscreen, the advice he’d give his younger self, and some of his unsavory eating habits:
The Unbearable Weight of Massive Talent is out in theaters now!
And while John Bradley (Samwell Tarly) may not have a movie out in theaters at the moment, he has two that just came out on home video. The first is Moonfall, a disaster movie where the Earth is literally threatened by the moon. The whole thing has a very ’90s feel to it, something Bradley is fully embracing by sharing fan edits like this one:
And here he is talking about filming one particularly intense scene:
Bradley’s other movie getting a home video release is Marry Me, a romcom with Jennifer Lopez:
Bradley has been very busy of late! And he’ll be back on our screens again in The Three-Body Problem, a sci-fi epic coming to Netflix from Game of Thrones creators David Benioff and Dan Weiss!
Finally, here’s Maisie Williams (Arya Stark) trying on clothes for Porter Magazine:
Because why can’t revenge-driven assassins have fun trying on clothes once in a while?
