It is known that, once upon a time, Elizabeth Olsen auditioned to play Daenerys Targaryen on Game of Thrones. It didn’t go well. “I was doing the Khaleesi speech when she comes out of the fire,” Olsen remembered. “It was awful. I didn’t get a callback.”

Olsen, of course, went on to find huge success playing Wanda Maximoff in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, so it all worked out. But it’s hard not to wonder how things might have been different had the audition gone better.

That’s where YouTube’s own stryder HD comes in. They’ve made a deepfake video inserting Olsen into some key scenes from Game of Thrones series finale.

There but for the grace of Emilia Clarke impressing the producers with the funky chicken. Seriously, look it up.

Speaking of Clarke, stryder HD has made a deepfake featuring her, as well, this time showing us what she would look like if she played Mera in Aquaman, which would reunite her with her Game of Thrones costar Jason Momoa:

People have long fan-cast Clarke as Mera, but the role is currently filled by Amber Heard. Filming on Aquaman 2 is just getting underway:
