Among the Dothraki, it is said that a wedding without a least three deaths is a dull affair. Thank God we don’t live among the Dothraki. Game of Thrones stars Kit Harington (Jon Snow) and Rose Leslie (Ygritte) got married today at a castle owned by Leslie’s family in Aberdeen, Scotland. By all accounts, the wedding was free of Game of Thrones-like disasters, but there were plenty of Game of Thrones cast members there to see it.

Emilia Clarke was present, happy as ever and showing off her dark roots — she is silver-blonde no more, and we know what that means.

Peter Dinklage (Tyrion Lannister), warding off photographers…I think.

Stark sisters Sophie Turner and Maisie Williams showed up to wish their castmates well.

Liam Cunningham (Davos Seaworth) looking dapper with a splash of color.

John Bradley (Samwell Tarly), Joe Dempsie (Gendry) and Ben Crompton (Dolorous Edd) were all front and center — Crompton looks happier than I’ve ever seen him on screen.

That’s Conleth Hill (Varys) next to Clarke on the right. He’s got a little peach fuzz growing on his head, so he may have just recently finishing filming his scenes for Game of Thrones season 8.

Even Richard Madden (Robb Stark) showed up, despite his history with (fake) weddings.

Above is the groom himself: Kit Harington, aka Jon Snow, aka the King in the North, aka newlywed. Unlike Clarke and Hill, Harington’s Game of Thrones hair is still intact — he pledged to cut it short when he was finished filming the show, so he’s probably not quite done.

The bride, radiant on her wedding day. She has her Game of Thrones hair, as well, we suppose, but it just grows like that.

The happy couple.

Here comes the rice!

Congrats to Harington and Leslie! We hope the cast has fun. This seems like a great way to mark the end of filming on this historic show.

Oh, and the Night King was there, too, but on his best behavior.
