Awesome scene where Ser Barristan quits from service after being insulted with forced retirement.
“A hall to die in….and men to bury me!”

I hate littlefinger
When you realize Barristan could have killed everyone in that room single-handedly.
I like how the knight on the far right struggles with his sword. lol…
The only person in that room that could have killed him was the Hound.
Or Ser meryn Trant. I mean he killed the greatest swordsman in the world.

Every man that is more loyal to the money than loyal to his oath, it's a man that can't be trusted.
This scene literally made Barristan my favorite character
Ser barristan 1 of the best knights of the realm. He definitely could have killed all those other knights with ease! Shit, he's been a knight since a teenager.
The best writing of the entire show, and in the Great Halls of television all together. From every single nuanced reaction of every character present (love Varys' look), too the camera work and sounds of effects, this will be my favorite declared, undoubtedly.
However sad it may be for Ser Barristan Selmy to just die like that, It would''ve better if he died fighting even more dangerous fighters. Like maybe, The white walkers. Thats the only thing I hated, the way he died to those stupid thugs. Although massive props for cutting through atleast 12 sons of the harpy.

3:24: The Kingsguard to the right in the last shot can`t sheathe his sword! 😉
What episode this from?
Most these people r dead now so it worked out good
I wish he lived to season 7.
For those complaining about how Barristan was killed by some thugs in a back street, it's sad but logical. Oberyn already said that a longsword is a bad idea for CQC especialy against knives. People saying he is overglorified should get their facts straight, George R.R Martin said that Arthur Dayne (You know that badass who almost won a 5V1 against opponents like Ned) and Barristan were evenly matched in their primes, Dawn however would give Arthur the edge
3:23 the kingsguard on the right seems to be having some trouble sheathing his sword…
I love how they are all laughing, then he draws his sword and suddenly everyone shuts the fuck up and looks nervous
3:23 that poor knight on the right is trying to sheathing his sword
2:57 Lol even The Hound flinched the fuck out when Barristan drew his sword.
Barristan Selmy was by far the greatest knight and underrated character of all time!
I've personally never wanted to deck littlefinger more
“Quits like a boss” the dude got fired
3:24 Anyone else notice that one kingsguard on the right struggling to re-sheath his sword?
Useless old man & his pride. Stood there like an confused idiot when they attacked Ned.
was this scene modified? I'm pretty sure the king guard on the right wasn't able to put back is sword. 3:23
Who is the grey haired guardsman they keep showing? 2:44 –shown in the background when Barriston is taking off his gear, is an example.
Sir Barristan, more honour than anyone on that damn platform.
So was his sword a Valyrian sword hmmmm 🤔😂😂
this bad ass motherfucker is still alive in the books and commanding an army defending mereen
3:21, Kingsguard on the extreme right knows how to put a sword back into its scabbard.

Littlefinger: That's on me guys should not have called him i naked knight i admit i fucked up.
Varys: Yes Indeed you did quite "Drop the ball" on that one.
You to ollllld
3:24,the kings guard at the right apparently has trouble putting sword back to the sheath lol
The slow draw of the goldcloacks compared to the kingsguard tho.
