  1. Full List of References (GoT SPOILERS!)

In the intro the gear with the Baratheon house sigil is the gear that causes the three chairs to rise, indicating it is both Robert Baratheon that created the modern ruling order of "Jesteros" by overthrowing the Mad King, and also that his death lead to the situation where the Game of Chairs must be played. The statues around the Game of Chairs logo indicate the four players: (clockwise from upper left) House Targaryen (Dany), House Lannister (Cersei), House Baratheon (Joeffry), and House Stark (Rob).

    Grover Bluejoy– Theon Greyjoy, naturally
The center chair is made of golf clubs, the visual pun is "throne of irons" (a type of club with that sort of head), as opposed to Iron Throne.
"It was hard to get over that wall out there"– reference to the Black Wall
"The monster is blue and full of errors"– Repeated Arc Words in season 2-3 "The night is dark and full of terrors"
The music played resembles the song Rains of Castamere, a musical Leitmotif from the 3rd season.
"A mommy of DRAGONS?!" — reference to one of Dany's titles (in her now comically long list) "Mother of Dragons"
"Can we hurry this up? I have a wedding to get to" — reference to the Red Wedding where Rob is killed, the impetus for much of the plot from the 4th season onwards.
"It looks like you choked Jeoffry"– reference to Jeoffry's death by The Strangler poison.
Grover Bluejoy ends up in the chair with two balls together in the front– Theon was emasculated and castrated.
"I'm telling my brother!"– double reference to Cersei's brother Jamie's title as "the kingslayer", who dealt with the last unwanted king, and their ahem "relationship"
"I cannot think of a more horrible ending than this"– reference to the Red Wedding again, and its effects on ending the Stark's ambitions for the throne as well as nearly ending their Existence, also a possible reference to the many horrible deaths at the Red Wedding including Rob's
"Do not lose your head over this Neddy baby!"– Reference to Ned Stark's beheading.
"Bring a sweater, I think winter is coming!"– reference to the series' arc words, and House Stark house words "Winter is Coming"

  2. Most people don't realize that sesame street has always been this way… making parodies for the parents while educating kids. They have always featured special celebrity guests also. This is pupeteering at its finest.
