camille was emotionally abusive for decades if not more than a century its hard to get out of an abusive situation/get away from abusive ppl esp when your lives are entangled (camille being clan leader (now ex) and magnus being high warlock of brooklyn)
also magnus kinda "owes" her his life (like not really but I can see him seeing it like that) with her keeping him from killing himself
so IM really glad he sent her to idris!!

yep, she's really dead. :[ i was so shocked they did it, but thinking on it it was probably a good move. it does come up again in the next few episodes, so it might have seemed like they didn't make it a big deal but that's only because the grief of it carries on for more than one episode (which it should).

Also don't worry about it, a huge majority of the people who watched the show read the books or knew of them so most people already knew they weren't related. Also Alec and Clary would be amazing friends! And everyone on the show in general have great chemistry and strong connections! It's one of the reasons why it's such a great show!

They'll focus on Jocelyn's death next episode. I like how they did things, basically at first Clary is in shock and she focuses her anger on the demon. But you can see that the pain really hits her only at the end of the episode, and it will continue next episode. In real life when you lose someone many people feel the true extent of the grief after a delay.

When you found out Alec killed Jocelyn because he was possessed and then paused. I was waiting for you to throw something and you did 😂😂

Haha, most people who watched the show went from bitching about Jocelyn to 'WTF they killed Jocelyn?!'. It was done in such a shocking way (but I do think the show is better for it storytelling-wise).

You were me when you saw Jocelyn was dead. I WAS SHOCKED! I've read the books and Cassie didn't kill Jocelyn in the book, she made Luke and Jocelyn get married and I was sad/mad that I couldn't see their relationship on screen.

Also I'm really mad that the sibling secret got spoiled for you, I was really looking forward to see a non book reader reaction.😤 I just hope the season 2 finale doesn't get spoiled for you.
